Tramontane missed the party at Défi Wind 2016

The Tramontane played a trick on 1,300 windsurfers. They traveled all the way from 38 countries to taste the 40 knots of wind, but the French natural energy source didn’t cooperate. The Défi Wind 2016 hasn’t crowned a champion. Philippe Bru and his team did everything they could do to run a successful event, but the main invitee decided to stay at home. The 40-kilometer windsurfing marathon was not given green light; instead, the organization held a short race with an inverted course.
